We could say a lot of things about the last year. 2020 was a time of turmoil, change, and transition — personally, and professionally – for so many. But it wasn’t all bad. 2020 also brought us back home, brought us together (even when we were apart), and showed us the courage, perseverance and kindness that has permeated our communities in the face of unprecedented challenges.
Despite the uncertainty, and the pandemic, there are still stories upon stories of people rising to the occasion – whether out of necessity, or true grit – to overcome. And here in the Capital Region alone, hundreds of them have stepped up to start new businesses of all types and sizes.
