Media Advisory: Capital Region Chamber to announce $1.5M initiative to support BIPOC-Owned Businesses and DEI

The Capital Region Chamber will announce the launch of a new initiative that will provide no-cost business growth services to Capital Region Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC)-owned enterprises in addition to helping the greater business community implement diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practices on Thursday, August 18 at 10 a.m.

Joining the Chamber at this event will be the leaders of the organizations funding this $1.5 million initiative: Dr. John Bennett, president and CEO, CDPHP; Mark Eagan, president and CEO, Capital Region Chamber; Jahkeen Hoke, CEO, Business for Good; and Fran O’Rourke, Capital Region market president, KeyBank.
