Fast Tony Productions: Making Waves in Saratoga Springs

A fresh energy is coursing through Saratoga Springs’ live music scene, and that energy is Fast Tony Productions. Helmed by Anthony Mangano-Delaney (“Tony”), this up-and-coming company is redefining what it means to experience live music. With a passion for hosting world-class talent while staying rooted in the local artist community, Tony’s vision is already striking a chord with fans and performers alike.

A Strong Start with Bywater Call

Fast Tony Productions launched in November 2024 with a show featuring Bywater Call at The Parting Glass, drawing an impressive 150 attendees to the intimate venue. “I didn’t exactly tell Bywater or their team that it was our first show,” Tony shares with a grin. “I’m sure they’ll catch this, so I guess the secret’s out now—hey guys! It was trial by fire, but everything seemed right in that moment, and I knew we were heading in the right direction.”

The night not only set the tone for Fast Tony Productions but also reinforced Tony’s belief in the power of live music. “Bywater’s musicianship is so organic and honest—it’s the kind of performance that reminds you why you fell in love with music in the first place.”

Collaborating with The Parting Glass

At the heart of Fast Tony Productions’ early success is its partnership with The Parting Glass, a local favorite known for its cozy atmosphere. Tony can’t say enough about the venue’s team. “Angel got the ball rolling for us, and Linda’s been there step by step, offering guidance and support. And Sue—well, celebrations may have gotten a bit out of hand after our first show, but Sue was at the pub bright and early the next day to nurse some of us back to health over a full Irish breakfast. It’s that kind of partnership that makes this all possible.”

Joining Saratoga’s Music Scene

Fast Tony Productions isn’t looking to compete with Saratoga’s other iconic venues—it’s here to complement them. “Venues like Café Lena and Putnam Place have long been staples for live music,” Tony says. “I haven’t met their teams yet, but they do a great job. I’m excited to find my space and contribute to this incredible music community.”

A Message to Fans: Your Voice Matters

Fast Tony Productions’ next big event, the Sunday Blues Festival, is set for February 2, 2025, at The Parting Glass. Headlined by Chicago blues legend Toronzo Cannon, the festival will also feature a local artist chosen directly by fans. Starting December 9, 2024, fans can vote on the Fast Tony Productions Facebook page to select the local act that will join the lineup. It’s a simple but powerful way to give the community a voice in shaping the night.

What’s Next? A Busy Year Ahead

Looking to the future, Fast Tony Productions shows no signs of slowing down. Just days after the Sunday Blues Festival, Tony will bring rock legend Pat Travers to town for a show on February 7, 2025. These events are just the beginning of what promises to be an exciting 2025 for Saratoga’s music fans.

“There’s a real love for music here,” Tony reflects. “It’s about more than just booking shows. It’s about creating experiences that people remember, supporting the artists we love, and bringing people together. That’s the heart of Fast Tony Productions.”
