Saratoga Builders Association (SBA) offering TWO student scholarship awards in 2025!
The Saratoga Builders Association, Inc. is proud to announce its continued commitment to supporting education in the construction industry by awarding two student scholarships in 2025. These annual scholarships provide financial assistance to students who are pursuing careers in construction or related fields.
This year’s scholarships include:
- The SBA Scholarship – $1,000
- The “Bob Best” Memorial Scholarship – $1,000
Both scholarships are open to high school seniors, college students, and undergraduates residing in Saratoga County who plan to pursue a construction-related education at a 2-year or 4-year accredited college, university, or technical school. Additionally, students who plan to purchase tools or equipment for employment, career advancement, or to start a business in the construction industry are also eligible to apply.
To qualify, applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate past or current involvement in the construction field, including coursework taken in high school or college. Each applicant must submit the following:
- A high school or college transcript (or a list of relevant trade classes taken)
- A short essay or video explaining their interest in a construction industry career and how this scholarship will support their goals
Application Deadline & Submission Details
Applications must be postmarked no later than April 25, 2025. Only the first 25 completed applications will be accepted, so early submissions are strongly encouraged. Scholarship recipients and their schools will be notified by June 1, 2025.
