Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Saratoga County Hosts Seed Starting Workshop in Ballston Spa
Hands-on gardening event set for April 2nd at the 4-H Training Center

BALLSTON SPA, NY – Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County is excited to announce its upcoming Seed Starting Workshop, taking place on April 2nd, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the 4-H Training Center, located at 556 Middleline Rd, Ballston Spa, NY. This interactive and educational event is perfect for both beginner and experienced gardeners looking to refine their indoor seed-starting skills.
Led by Jessica Luse and Madison Blodgett, this workshop will provide a comprehensive introduction to seed starting, covering essential topics such as soil media selection, container choices, lighting requirements, and ideal planting times. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on demonstrations and take home their own seed starting kit to kickstart their gardening journey.
