Pedal for a Purpose at the Dake Foundation’s Annual Bike for Kids Fundraiser

Saratoga Springs, NY — Get ready to ride, rally, and raise funds for a great cause! The Dake Foundation for Children invites the community to its annual Bike for Kids fundraiser on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Saratoga Springs YMCA (290 West Avenue).

This exciting stationary bike relay brings together teams of four to compete for bragging rights, prizes, and—most importantly—to support local children with disabilities. Founded by Gary Dake, President of Stewart’s Shops, the Dake Foundation has been making a difference in the Capital Region for over 16 years by providing grants for adaptive equipment, therapy, and other essential services.

About the Dake Foundation for Children

Founded in 2009, the Dake Foundation for Children is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping children with disabilities access opportunities beyond what medical insurance and family budgets can provide. Our mission is to ensure every child has the equipment, services, and experiences they need to participate fully in their families, communities, and with their peers. By removing barriers to independence, inclusion, and fun, we maximize positive impacts on children’s physical and mental health, dignity, and quality of life.
