SEDC Celebrates Conclusion of a Successful 2024

200 Members, Governmental Supporters and Stakeholders Join Board of Directors to Review 2024 Successes, Plan for 2025
Saratoga Springs, NY — J. Gregory Connors, President & CEO of the Saratoga Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), today announced the release of the corporation’s 2024 Annual Report, covering the period of January 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025. The report was presented to SEDC members and stakeholders at the corporation’s Annual Meeting held April 24, 2025, at the Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs. Mr. Connors, who assumed his current position in September 2023, announced the continuation of progress toward SEDC’s goals of attracting new investment into the County, assisting the business community, increasing membership, and promoting efficient and accountable management.
“I am pleased to announce that SEDC made terrific progress toward the ambitious goals set by our Board of Directors, and we headed into 2025 with tremendous momentum,” said Mr. Connors. “We attracted nearly $200 million in new investment, including from international companies, leading to the creation of hundreds of new jobs in Saratoga County. Our membership is the strongest it has been in years, and we are in sound fiscal condition and in compliance with all federal and state regulatory filings. We would not be in this position without the support of our members and our partners in economic development, particularly the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors and the Industrial Development Agencies (IDAs) of Saratoga County, Clifton Park, and Mechanicville/Stillwater. To all who support us so we can support the business community: thank you.”
