Building Business Through Partnership

Strong communities are built through strong partnerships. When Chambers of Commerce come together, they create opportunities to share resources, expand connections, and amplify their collective impact, ultimately strengthening the businesses and communities they serve.

The Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce (ARCC) has started the summer season strong with two collaborative events alongside neighboring Chambers of Commerce. By joining forces, Chambers are building stronger networks, fostering innovation, and proving that collaboration can achieve far more than any organization can accomplish alone.

With over 325 business professionals in attendance, the “Triple Chamber Mixer,” held on June 4 at the beautiful Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, was the perfect opportunity to connect while enjoying warm, sunny weather on the resort’s Mountain View Terrace. Members of the ARCC, Lake George Regional Chamber, and Bolton Landing Chamber were treated to an impressive charcuterie spread, bountiful seafood hors d’oeuvres, and a campfire for s’mores on the terrace lawn.

“It’s events like these that really bring regional businesses together to connect, or reconnect, in a comfortable atmosphere. We saw lots of new faces and were extremely impressed with the hospitality of the Sagamore’s team,” said ARCC President Tricia Rogers.

When multiple Chambers collaborate, they create broader opportunities for businesses to network, learn, advocate, and grow—strengthening not only their individual communities, but the entire region.

Following the Triple Chamber Mixer was the annual Ladies Mixer at Wiawaka—a gathering of women’s professional groups from the ARCC, Lake George Regional Chamber, and Bolton Landing Chamber. Drawing close to 75 women, this mixer was hosted at Wiawaka Center for Women, a historic property and organization dedicated to enriching and inspiring the lives of all women. Established in 1903, Wiawaka is the oldest and longest continuously operating retreat for women in America.

During the mixer, attendees enjoyed wine and spirit samples from Adirondack Winery and Springbrook Hollow Farm Distillery while networking on the pristine yet natural grounds of Wiawaka.

ARCC Welcomes Lindsey Kenna to Help Expand Programs and Partnerships

In mid-May, the ARCC welcomed Lindsey Kenna to the team as Programs & Partnerships Manager.

“Lindsey brings a strong background and a fresh perspective that aligns perfectly with the ARCC’s mission, values, and vision for the future. We are thrilled to have her join us during this exciting time of growth,” said ARCC President Tricia Rogers.

Lindsey has a longstanding passion for community engagement and regional development. Prior to joining the Chamber, she spent the past two and a half years with the Lake George Association, where she supported initiatives focused on environmental stewardship through education, community outreach, and regional collaboration. She also previously worked with the organization from 2017–2020 as an environmental educator.

“After joining the ARCC team about a month ago, I was excited to hit the ground running with our annual golf tournament and a full lineup of summer events,” said Kenna. “It has been incredibly rewarding to meet so many people and organizations that make this community such a special place, and I’m thrilled to be a part of that work. The best part, though, has been joining such an incredible team. From day one, I’ve seen firsthand why they are so well respected throughout the region, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to work alongside them.”

In addition to her experience in the nonprofit sector, Lindsey is also a licensed realtor with extensive knowledge of the local community and regional housing market. Through both professional and personal experiences, she has built strong relationships throughout the Adirondack region and is passionate about supporting the continued growth and success of local businesses and organizations.

Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys spending time outdoors—walking, swimming, kayaking, and taking advantage of the warmer months as much as possible. Last year, she purchased an 1850s house that is a labor of love, with a renovation project always on the horizon.
