Healthcare Coalition for the North Country Holds Two Press Conferences to Discuss Impact of Proposed Medicaid Cuts

WHAT: The Healthcare Coalition for the North Country will hold two press conferences on Wednesday to discuss how the Medicaid cuts proposed in Washington would impact the North Country. A great deal is at stake for local hospitals, nursing homes, and medical practices—in fact, the whole healthcare system—if there are quick, careless cuts to Medicaid. Cuts of the magnitude proposed by Congressional leaders will affect all the North Country’s residents, not just the 215,000+ who are covered by Medicaid.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 14
10:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.
WHERE: Million Dollar Staircase (3rd Floor) Lake George Mystery Spot NYS Capitol Building 1 Beach Rd Albany, NY 12224 Lake George, NY 12845
