‘Networking at Night’ Supports Local Survivors with Upcoming Fundraiser

On April 18, 2024, the local business networking group “Networking at Night” will host a fundraiser at Bailey’s Cafe in downtown Saratoga Springs, with 100% of the proceeds going to support Wellspring Saratoga. The event, with a suggested donation of $20, combines professional networking opportunities with a charitable cause, while also offering attendees the chance to engage with fellow professionals, enjoy a taco bar, drink specials, and participate in raffles and a silent auction. This year marks their 2nd annual fundraiser, following a very successful inaugural event in 2023.

Wellspring Saratoga is dedicated to “Working to end sexual assault and domestic violence in Saratoga County by providing survivor services and engaging the community.” Funds raised from this event will directly support their essential services, which include crisis intervention, counseling, and advocacy.

“Networking at Night” is known for organizing events that allow for meaningful community engagement and professional development. This fundraiser reflects the group’s commitment to not only fostering business connections but also supporting vital community causes. “We’re excited to bring the local business community together at Bailey’s for an evening that promises not only great networking opportunities but also a chance to make a real difference in the lives of those Wellspring Saratoga serves,” said Andrea Gorgen, a spokesperson and founding member of the group.

Through this fundraiser, “Networking at Night” aims to bolster Wellspring Saratoga’s efforts in providing a safer, more supportive Saratoga County, showcasing the power of community and professional solidarity.
