Kringle Kottage to Host Ribbon Cutting and Soft Launch November 19 in Lake George

A heartwarming, sensory-friendly Santa experience brings the magic of the holidays to every child and family

Lake George, N.Y. — A touch of Christmas magic is arriving early in Lake George. On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 4:30 p.m., the K. Kringle Foundation, in partnership with the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB and Fort William Henry, will celebrate the official Ribbon Cutting and Soft Launch of Kringle Kottage — Santa’s cozy home-away-from-home — located at 46 Canada Street on the historic grounds of Fort William Henry.

Kringle Kottage isn’t your typical Santa visit. This thoughtfully designed cabin offers a sensory-friendly holiday experience, inviting neurodivergent children and adults to meet Santa in a calm, personalized, and welcoming space. From its frosted windows and softly twinkling lights to the gentle motion of a holiday train, every detail has been crafted to capture the wonder of Christmas in an atmosphere of comfort, care, and joy.

The official opening of Kringle Kottage will take place on Friday, November 21, 2025, when appointments begin for the 2025 holiday season.

A Celebration of Community and Inclusion

Roger Allan, Founder of the K. Kringle Foundation and known to many as Adirondack Santa, shared the heart behind the project:

“Kringle Kottage was created from the heart — to make sure every child and adult has the chance to experience the wonder of Christmas in a way that feels comfortable and magical for them. We’re proud to bring this dream to life right here in Lake George.”

Sam Luciano, President and General Manager of Fort William Henry Hotel, added:

“We’re honored to host Kringle Kottage on the Fort William Henry grounds. It’s more than a cabin — it’s a symbol of kindness, inclusivity, and the spirit that defines Lake George, especially during the holidays.”

Kristin Howarth, Founder of the Upstate NY Autism Alliance, reflected on the impact for families her organization serves:

“Our group has offered sensory Santa opportunities for almost two decades, but they always fill up quickly. Now, with Kringle Kottage offering visits all season long, families can enjoy this experience without barriers. Santa Roger and his team have created something truly special.”

Dr. Gina Cosgrove, Founder of Chelsea Place Psychological Services, added:

“This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to enjoy a sensory-friendly Santa experience. It’s something our community has truly needed, and it will provide children of all ages a comfortable and meaningful way to enjoy their time with Santa.”

Roger Allan noted the overwhelming response since opening online booking:

“We’ve already received bookings from guests ages 2 to 76 — proof that the magic of Christmas lives in all of us, no matter our age or ability.”
