Saratoga Bridges Announces New Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operations Officer

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Saratoga Bridges announced Jane Mastaitis will be their Chief Executive Officer effective Oct. 1, 2021. In her role, Jane will provide leadership for all aspects of Saratoga Bridges’ operations and is responsible for implementing policies and programs to carry out the work of the organization with an emphasis on long-term goals, growth, and sustainability in the alignment of their strategic plan. Jane is replacing Valerie Muratori who will be retiring after 38 years of service to the agency.

Saratoga Bridges also welcomed Dorothy Broekhuizen as their new Chief Operating Officer replacing Greg Cuda who retired after 30 years with the agency. Dorothy is responsible for assisting the CEO in leading, developing, and overseeing the day-to-day administration services to ensure they remain at a consistent high level and with a person-centered focus while maintaining the programmatic structure and regulatory requirements.

Board of Directors President Dr. Lawrence Fein shared this:

“Valerie Muratori has been not just the face of Saratoga Bridges, but the backbone of the agency. For 38 years, she guided us through tremendous growth as well as recent challenges. With her impending retirement, our Succession Team conducted a very extensive search process. We are happy to announce that we selected Jane Mastaitis as our next CEO. Jane has been a pillar of our organization as well for many years. She will be bringing her experience, leadership skills, and enthusiasm to the CEO position during this very difficult period for agencies who provide services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Greg Cuda served Saratoga Bridges for three decades and was an integral part of its growth. Dorothy has come up through the agency and has brought efficiency and enthusiasm to every one of her positions. She is very well respected by staff, administrators, and the Board of Directors. Please join me in congratulating Jane and Dorothy and extending our eternal thanks to Valerie and Greg!”
