Q: Describe your average weekday morning…
A: Hit the office at 6:30 and see where the day takes me. These last 18-20 months have been a logistical challenge, same as everyone else. COVID has kept us all on our toes.
Q: What was your first construction related job?
A: 13 years old working for my uncle as a framing laborer.
Q: How many projects are currently underway and how do you manage them all?
A: More than a few, and I’m blessed to have an unbelievable team that we have built over the last 35 years that does a great job.
Q: What does Sonny Bonacio do to decompress on the weekend?
A: What does decompress mean!!?? Spend time with my family. Julie and I became empty nesters last week, so we are onto a new and great chapter.
Q: Share your best piece of leadership advice…
A: Listen.
Q: Is Sonny your real name?
A: Nope.
Q: What book(s) are on your nightstand?
A: My iPad for returning emails, FaceTiming the kids, then nite-nite.
Q: What market is next for Bonacio Construction?
A: I’m going back to building treated decks on houses. Really miss those first years!
