Lake George Youth Commission Halloween Party, Parade & Trunk-or-Treat
Lake George, NY — The Lake George Youth Commission hosted its annual Halloween Party and Parade on Sunday, October 26, 2025, bringing families and community members together for an evening of fun and festivities. This beloved Halloween tradition, proudly running for more than 40 years, once again offered food, games, and community spirit for all ages.
The evening began at Lake George High School Gymnasium with games, snacks, a Halloween Bag giveaway, and decorated pumpkins for each child to take home.
The Halloween Parade kicked off afterward, led by the Lake George Fire Department, a lively drumline, a stilt walker, and community participants in costume. The parade marched down Canada Street and concluded at Shepard Park, where the Trunk or Treat Block Party took over.
Canada Street transformed into a festive Halloween village featuring:
- A lineup of local food trucks and vendors, including Weiner Wagon, All Things Delicious, All Fired Up, and Cooley’s Ice Cream, along with a hot cocoa and hot cider station
- Trunk or Treat vehicles filled with candy and surprises
- Live entertainment, including jugglers, face painters, costumed characters, performances by the Gem Theater Witches and Adk-Raqs Bellydance troupe, an aerial performance, and more
- A dance party area for kids and families to enjoy music together
