Stews & Brews Lake George Returns This Weekend
Local Restaurants Serve Up Winter Flavor on Saturday, January 24
LAKE GEORGE, NY — The Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB is pleased to help promote the return of Stews & Brews Lake George, taking place Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 12:00–3:00 PM. This winter tasting promotion invites residents and visitors to enjoy an afternoon of sampling signature stews and seasonal drink specials at participating restaurants throughout the Lake George Region.
Stews & Brews was created by local restaurant owners as a way to spark winter foot traffic, showcase culinary talent, and energize the community before the region’s popular ice bars and Lake George Winter Carnival begin. “We started Stews & Brews in 2023 to bring restaurants together and spark some energy in January, and it’s great to see it return this year,” said Joe Mondella, owner of The Lagoon, who helped kickstart the original event. “It’s a fun, flavorful way to support local businesses before the ice bars and Winter Carnival festivities take over.”
The Chamber’s support focuses on promotion and ensuring that restaurants—both members and non-members—have an opportunity to benefit from increased winter visibility. “We’re thrilled to support Stews & Brews again this year,” said Gina Mintzer, Executive Director of the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB. “This promotion brings restaurants together at a time when business can be quiet, and we’re happy to help shine a spotlight on the talent, creativity, and hospitality that define our culinary community.”

Guests participating in Stews & Brews can expect:
- 4 oz. samples of signature stews for $3 per cup
- $2 off select draft specials
- A self-guided tasting experience designed to encourage exploration of the region
